Advanced Portrait Drawing classes are hosted on Tuesday nights in Los Gatos. We use charcoal on paper to render realistic portrait drawings using the "sight-size" method.

Advanced Figure Drawing classes are hosted on Monday nights in Los Gatos. We use charcoal on paper to render realistic figure drawings using the "sight-size" method.

Portrait and figure drawing courses hosted by Stanford Continuing Studies. These are formal lecture and studio art classes which teach a method of drawing the human body or portrait realistically. Ideal for painters and sculptors, open to all levels, novice through advanced.

2 units credit.

Oil painting workshops are hosted by the  NUMU Museum of Art in Los Gatos or the Pacific Art League in Palo Alto. Workshops introduce both novice and experienced artists to the "sight-size" method of painting from life. We use a limited palette of colors and build a portrait or figure painting based on a solid drawing.
